Zak Winokur is a videographer focused on collaboration with artists and musicians to develop engaging visual narratives. In his first career as a teacher, Zak developed the communication, organization, and storytelling skills which have become invaluable in his work as a videographer, allowing him to guide projects with clarity and a creative vision.

 

Working with artists and musicians has been incredibly meaningful for Zak, offering the chance to connect deeply with creative processes. His work includes filming Orchestre trinational du Haut-Rhin on an international tour, producing a Concordia Chamber Players film for the Princeton Festival, and creating a series of films documenting the history and artistry of Nakashima Woodworkers. Driven by a genuine passion for his craft, Zak continues to explore ways to view the intersection of sound, performance, and visual art.
